(TRANSITIONAL)

 This transitional kitchen in Massachusetts features black granite-topped white cabinetry along the perimeter, with a white granite-topped black island (which also featured a microwave drawer).  The black antique-looking range and hood (an homage to the owner’s Nonna’s home cooking) are an interesting contrast to the other stainless appliances and industrial laboratory stools.  The kitchen connects to the family room, so we carried the same hardwood floors throughout.
